Guilt-Free Chocolate Indulgence
I’ve always loved chocolates. I just cannot resist it. Dark chocolate was not a favorite of mine, though. I found it too bitter. But of course, once I became primal, I didn’t have a choice but to adapt. Nowadays, I find chocolates with less than 60% cacao too sweet.
Here’s trial by fire #14: dark chocolate truffles with shredded coconut. Too bad I only got to take this one shot. I’ll update this post with more pics the next time I make it.

Ingredients: coconut milk, unrefined coconut oil, 500 grams dark chocolate (70-75% cacao), unsweetened shredded coconut, flavor extract of your choice (optional), your favorite liqueur (optional)
